Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
Vanla Group ("we", "us") is a business broker and M&A advisory firm. Selling a business is confidential work, and we treat what you share with us the same way. This policy explains what we collect on vanlagroup.com, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you tell us. When you fill in a form, book a call or email us: your name, email, phone, business name, revenue range, industry, timing and anything you write in a message.
- How you use the site. Pages viewed, the ad or link that brought you here (including ad click identifiers), device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address. This comes from cookies and similar tools described below.
How we use it
- To respond to you, prepare a valuation and advise you on a sale.
- To send you information you asked for, and occasional related emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages and ads work, so we spend less reaching the right owners.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.
Confidentiality with buyers
We never share your name or your company's name with a buyer without your permission, and every buyer signs a non-disclosure agreement before learning who you are.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that run parts of our business for us, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Website hosting and form handling (Netlify).
- Our CRM and workflow tools, where your inquiry is stored and routed to an advisor.
- Scheduling (Cal.com) when you book a call.
- Email delivery providers.
- Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Microsoft Advertising. When you submit a form, we may send a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email and phone to Google and Meta so they can tell us which ads led to an inquiry. They do not receive the readable values.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our own firm.
Cookies and advertising
We and our advertising partners use cookies and similar tools to measure visits and ad results and to show our ads to people who visited the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings and in your Meta and Microsoft account settings. To opt out of this ad sharing with us directly, email the address below.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails. Email paul@vanlagroup.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (the advertising cookies above). We do not sell personal information and do not use sensitive personal information to infer anything about you.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client records while we may still be working with you and as long as needed for our legal, tax and professional record keeping, then delete or anonymize them.
Security
We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send financial statements or tax returns through website forms. We will give you a secure way to share documents.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
